Sr Software Developer - JAVA

Location: Denver, Colorado; hybrid work

Annual base salary: $150,000–$200,000, with potential discretionary bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and test new features and functionality for the core product with business analysts.
• Work with support analysts to identify and resolve software defects.
• Build prototypes and proof of concepts to evaluate and integrate new technologies.
• Write clean, reliable, performant, and maintainable code across frontend and backend systems.
• Work independently to design solutions for unique product and business-logic challenges.
• Supervise and mentor direct reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 8+ years of industry or relevant experience, typically including 2+ years at AVP level or an equivalent role.
• Strong experience with Java, JavaScript frontend frameworks, SQL, relational databases, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures and object-relational mappings.
• Experience with Agile development practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal communication, and direct-report management skills.
