Sr Staff RF Development Engineer (RF)

Salary: $138,900–$182,280 per year

What you will do

• Define technology strategies, product architectures, and roadmaps for RF and high-speed interconnect solutions.
• Lead the architecture, design, modeling, development, and optimization of advanced RF and high-speed digital physical-layer systems.
• Develop RF calibration, de-embedding, error-correction, measurement, and validation methodologies.
• Establish correlation between electromagnetic simulations, laboratory measurements, and production test results.
• Guide prototypes and technologies through concept development, validation, qualification, and transition to manufacturing.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and advise customers, suppliers, research institutions, and industry partners on complex technical challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline with at least 12 years of related experience; alternatively, 8 years with a Master’s degree, 5 years with a PhD, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive expertise in RF, microwave, millimeter-wave, high-speed digital interconnect, or related test and measurement technologies.
• Expert proficiency with electromagnetic simulation, RF design, and modeling tools such as HFSS, ADS, Sigrity, or AWR.
• Deep knowledge of RF calibration, measurement science, de-embedding, error correction, test system architecture, and RF measurement equipment.
• Strong expertise in RF PCB design, signal integrity, electromagnetic compatibility, controlled impedance, and high-speed interconnect design.
• Experience with semiconductor test, wafer sort, package test, advanced packaging, product commercialization, and complex technical leadership.

• Patents, publications, conference presentations, standards contributions, or other industry recognition.
• Experience building partnerships with suppliers, research institutions, standards organizations, and strategic development partners.
