Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in propulsion system development or an equivalent high-performance engineering field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, mechatronics, or another technical engineering discipline.
  • Detailed mechanical design experience with NX or equivalent CAD software, plus PLM tools such as Teamcenter, Windchill, or similar systems.
  • Experience with design reviews, flight-part release approvals, qualification reports, requirements, qualification, production, and acceptance testing.
  • Hands-on integration and testing experience, ideally using National Instruments equipment and software, and experience with electrical and chemical storable propellants.
  • U.S. citizenship and willingness to obtain a security clearance are required. Work on U.S. office programs is subject to ITAR eligibility and applicable U.S. work authorization requirements.

Nice to have

  • Python experience for data manipulation and post-processing.
  • Experience with GD&T, engineering drawings, requirements and verification sets, test plans, test reports, and National Instruments data acquisition systems.
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting flight hardware.
  • Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience making physics-based, standards-based, and technical risk-informed decisions in ambiguous environments.
