Air Quality Project Manager

Location: Remote in the United States, Texas; less than 25% travel required.

Annual salary: $95,000–$125,000, plus an annual bonus based on experience, skills, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Manage NSR, non-attainment NSR, PSD, and Title V air quality permitting projects.
• Perform regulatory air dispersion modeling using US EPA-recommended models, including AERMOD.
• Prepare emission calculations and develop emissions inventories.
• Conduct BACT assessments and regulatory applicability analyses across state, local, and federal requirements.
• Administer and manage a team of consultants while overseeing project timelines, budgets, delivery, and quality control.
• Communicate with internal and external clients, maintain professional relationships, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• B.S. degree or higher in engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• 5–7 years of air quality consulting experience.
• Project management experience, including managing timelines, budgets, and successful delivery.
• Experience with AERMOD, SCREEN3, TRI-ME, MS Office, and time and expense tracking software.
• Advanced knowledge of environmental regulations, engineering concepts, chemical processes, and emissions control technologies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, time-management, problem-solving, teamwork, and mentoring skills.
