Chemical Engineer Fall Co-op

Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina, United States; onsite at a chemical plant

Schedule: Regular full-time, 40 hours per week. Preferred first term: August–December 2026. A minimum total commitment of six months is required, and two or more terms may be required.

What you will do

• Work with experienced engineering professionals on improvement and expansion projects.
• Assist operations and maintenance teams with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem solving.
• Participate in process safety management activities and reviews.
• Implement process improvements through the management of change process.
• Collaborate with external vendors to specify new and replacement equipment.
• Contribute to team meetings and conference calls while working with Technology and Operations teams.

Requirements

• Be enrolled at an accredited college or university as a sophomore or above at the time of assignment.
• Pursue an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering or a similar field.
• Have familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Immigration sponsorship, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, TN, or other non-immigrant status sponsorship, is not available.
