Operations Supervisor- Argo (Energy Infrastructure)

Location: Onsite in Argo, Illinois, United States. The facility operates 24/7, with weekend, night, and holiday work required; occasional work outside scheduled shifts and up to 10% travel may be required.

Salary: USD $89,100–$129,200 per year.

What you will do

• Lead, schedule, and deploy union employees across daily terminal operations.
• Direct the storage and handling of bulk liquid commodities and inspect pumping activities across transportation modes.
• Manage terminal equipment and facility systems, including boilers and electric heat tracing.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and timely repairs with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Respond to and investigate injuries, releases, fires, property damage, and other incidents; serve as Incident Commander until relieved.
• Schedule and deliver employee training, complete operating paperwork, and lead operational improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least two years of leadership or management experience.
• Experience with bulk storage, conveying, and processing equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, independent decision-making, and the ability to respond to emergencies.
• Ability to work in industrial and office environments, outdoors, at heights, around water, and in confined, dusty, or dirty spaces; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record; successful drug screening and background check required.
• Must successfully obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) at the start of employment and be authorized to work in the United States.
