Ops Supervisor MRF

What you will do

• Supervise recycling and post-collection operations and direct dispatchers, clerks, drivers, sorters, helpers, and equipment operators.
• Lead safety and accident-prevention programs and remove unsafe conditions from the recycling center.
• Partner with maintenance to keep equipment operational and compliant with safety standards.
• Manage productivity goals, operating standards, labor hours, disposal expenses, and budget-related operational plans.
• Resolve service requests, equipment breakdowns, schedule changes, and customer issues.
• Build employee engagement, coach team members, and develop talent for advancement.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Ability to direct a large staff and build collaborative teams.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking, decision-making, leadership, and judgment skills.
• Process-oriented and results-oriented approach with a commitment to ethical behavior and organizational success.
