What you will do

• Design, implement, patch, and manage on-premises and cloud infrastructure across Azure, Nutanix, and VMware.
• Design and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless, Internet, and virtual networking environments.
• Monitor critical systems, resolve infrastructure issues, and improve availability, performance, and reliability against KPIs and SLAs.
• Manage firewalls, information security services, backups, storage, server systems, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Design monitoring, alerting, and automation infrastructure, including virtual machine deployment and infrastructure automation.
• Lead IT infrastructure projects, provide technical documentation and training, and support other IT teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in a medium- to high-volume environment.
• Experience designing and managing Nutanix and VMware hypervisor technologies, backup appliances, storage arrays, and server systems.
• Experience deploying and automating virtual machines on-premises and in cloud infrastructure.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud and on-premises compute, hypervisors, networking, storage, and backup technologies.
• Strong understanding of automation tools and deployment methods, with excellent documentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-oriented technical discipline or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Certification or extensive experience with Azure, Nutanix, Juniper MIST, Palo Alto Strata, Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365, Cisco IOS, VMware, or Hyper-V.
