Intern Lending Operations (Finance)

Location: Mankato, Minnesota, United States; hybrid model with up to 50% work from home. The internship is full-time through summer 2027 and requires interns to provide their own housing and transportation.

Salary: $19–$20 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Support day-to-day lending operations to help ensure loans are serviced accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with reporting, data analysis, trend identification, and improvement opportunities.
• Review, document, and improve business processes, procedures, and workflows.
• Participate in projects focused on improving customer and team member experiences.
• Research industry standards, best practices, and solutions to operational challenges.
• Present project findings, recommendations, and results to team members and leaders.

Requirements

• Working toward a degree in agricultural business, business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or data management.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn new systems and processes.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a team.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Internship visa sponsorship is not available.
