Salary: $25.00–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support real estate and capital markets research for bond and commercial mortgage investment analysis and underwriting.
• Monitor credit risk and performance of existing investment holdings.
• Review due diligence documents for mortgage investment origination and closing.
• Research industries and sectors across real estate and fixed income markets.
• Participate in the investment process, including meetings with issuers and management.

Requirements

• Be a rising junior or senior pursuing a Real Estate degree.
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate strong academic performance.
• Have working knowledge of accounting, finance, corporate strategy, real estate, financial statistics, and commercial property underwriting.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, analytical problem-solving, decision-making, and mathematical skills.
• Know Microsoft Office, including Excel, and be able to work independently and take direction from multiple leaders.
• Be available to work full time during the summer in Minneapolis, MN.

Nice to have

• Background or strong interest in real estate.
• Experience with Argus, FactSet, Aladdin, or Bloomberg.
