Futures & Prediction Market Operations Intern (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, IL office; in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week

Salary: $26 per hour

What you will do

• Review operational reports and support daily operational tasks for futures and prediction markets.
• Assist with clearing and settlement of futures, futures options, and event contract trades.
• Analyze trade and position reconciliations and resolve futures and event contract trading issues.
• Support regulatory reporting, compliance audits, and Futures Risk analytical activities.
• Help establish operational processes, tools, documentation, and workflows.
• Coordinate with clearing firms, exchanges, vendors, and internal teams including Risk, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Trust and Safety.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking Finance, Business, or related program, with expected graduation in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Interest in futures markets, derivatives, and back-office clearing.
• Demonstrated operational excellence and problem-solving ability.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills for resolving issues and developing long-term strategies.
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple daily tasks and projects with different deadlines.
