Special Operations Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Behavioral Health): Providing behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, and case management for service members and their families with an accent on operational-unit support, evidence-based therapies, and clinical documentation. Focus on conducting behavioral assessments, treating psychological and neuropsychological disorders, coordinating difficult cases, and supporting treatment adherence.
Location: Fort Liberty, North Carolina, United States. Relocation is offered. U.S. citizenship is required, and a DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance must be held or obtainable.

What you will do
- Provide behavioral health care within a Special Operations operational unit.
- Conduct interviews, behavioral assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and evidence-based individual, family, group, and couples psychotherapy.
- Perform alcohol and drug treatment evaluations, case management, and treatment-adherence assessments.
- Maintain accurate patient records, reports, registries, and electronic medical documentation.
- Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders, school districts, and behavioral health or psychiatry consultants.
- Participate in applied research, clinical investigations, quality-improvement activities, meetings, conferences, and military-specific training; clinical supervision may be required.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to hold or obtain a DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Master of Social Work or equivalent degree from a CSWE-accredited graduate school of social work.
- Current, unrestricted clinical social work license permitting independent practice in a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
- At least two years of peer-reviewable clinical social work experience in a mental health setting.
- Experience with brief behavioral interventions and knowledge of professional standards and ethics.
- Ability to maintain local MTF credentialing requirements and obtain or maintain clinical practice privileges when required.
Nice to have
- Prior military or Special Operations Forces experience.
- Experience in a government setting, such as a Department of Defense or Department of Veterans Affairs medical treatment facility.
