Production Manager, 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States; onsite, 3rd shift

Salary: $92,600–$154,400 per year

What you will do

• Oversee plant production and set standards to meet production and quality requirements.
• Ensure production schedules and contractual commitments are met.
• Lead continuous improvement meetings and implement methods to reduce manufacturing costs.
• Manage budgets, approve expenditures, and keep operations within budget.
• Direct Production Supervisors and Team Representatives while supporting employee involvement.
• Resolve conflicts and maintain an environment that promotes productivity and throughput.

Requirements

• Six or more years of related work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with production scheduling preferred.
• Ability to implement and drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes preferred.
• Management-level experience in heavy equipment or automotive manufacturing preferred.
