Senior Workday Developer (Workday)

What you will do

• Design, build, and test end-to-end technical solutions using software development life cycle methodologies.
• Develop integrations, reports, dashboards, system configurations, and supporting applications for HR systems.
• Configure Workday to support HCM, benefits, compensation, recruiting, time tracking, and payroll processes.
• Manage daily EDI transactions between internal systems and third-party vendors while following information security policies.
• Document system designs, process workflows, test plans, and business continuity plans, and provide end-user training when required.
• Evaluate Workday releases, test new functionality, and recommend software improvements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of programming or analysis experience, particularly in reporting and integration development.
• At least 3 years of HRIS configuration experience and knowledge of related business processes.
• Strong knowledge of integrations and web services standards, including SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML, and XSLT.
• Understanding of HR and payroll laws and how to develop compliant solutions.
• Strong analytical, written communication, verbal communication, and stakeholder relationship skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an undergraduate degree and Workday HCM certification are preferred.

Nice to have

• Workday HCM configuration and maintenance certification.
• Previous Workday experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
