Associate Investigator (NMR)

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global Discovery Hub in Newark, Delaware, United States

Annual salary: $73,947–$115,542, plus a 6% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Develop integrated analytical solutions for internal and external requestors.
• Design and execute experiments, including NMR analyses across varied sample types.
• Process, review, interpret, and optimize experimental results and methodologies.
• Support NMR laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and cryogen fills.
• Prepare analytical reports for R&D needs and product registration requirements.
• Manage priorities across multiple projects, communicate results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• BS in Chemistry or a closely related field.
• Experience with general laboratory procedures and analytical sample preparation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet challenging deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize daily workflow.
• Commitment to safe laboratory operations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• BS or MS with 1–2 years of industry experience.
• Experience with NMR spectroscopy and Bruker systems.
• Knowledge of organic chemistry and polymer characterization.
