Analytical Chemist – NMR Spectroscopist (NMR)

What you will do

• Perform and refine one- and two-dimensional solution-state NMR analysis for structure elucidation, quantitative analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Acquire and interpret NMR data to deliver reliable, actionable analytical results.
• Maintain NMR instruments, including cryogen fills.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative FTIR analysis and maintain FTIR instruments through performance testing and verification.
• Use LabWorks LIMS, SQL, and Crystal Reports to support data reporting and workflow optimization.
• Support company goals, complete required training, and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Chemistry.
• 5–7+ years of NMR experience.
• Detailed knowledge of organic chemistry for product characterization and problem-solving.
• Experience with Bruker TopSpin and VNMRJ on the Linux platform.
• Experience with enterprise LIMS, SQL, and Crystal Reports data reporting.
• Unrestricted right to work for hirify.global in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with qualitative and quantitative FTIR analysis.
• Experience with the LabWorks Laboratory Information Management System.
