Account Executive I (Healthcare)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with three days per week in the office and local and overnight travel

Base pay: $56,900–$85,300 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Negotiate renewals and sell products and services to existing customers.
• Understand customer needs and provide customer support.
• Drive continued and increased customer and business growth.
• Build strong customer relationships and make sound decisions.
• Travel locally and overnight as required.

Requirements

• Hold a state General Lines Agent Life, Health, and HMO license, or obtain it within the required timeframe under state regulations.
• Have four years of experience in healthcare management, claims processing, customer service, or marketing and sales involving decision-making, self-direction, and finance or product analysis; alternatively, a bachelor's degree plus two years of relevant experience.
• Have healthcare management experience with PPO and HMO plans.
• Demonstrate customer service orientation, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Have experience analyzing reports and addressing customer needs.
• Be able to work in a hybrid arrangement three days per week in the Houston office and travel locally and overnight.
