Fringe Analyst

Day & Zimmermann is hiring for its D&Z MC Finance unit.

What you will do

• Use SAP, Excel, Microsoft Office, WinShuttle, Crystal Reports, SharePoint, WebToolBox, and ServiceNow to prepare payroll and union contribution reports.
• Develop, maintain, and validate union rate schedules and fringe benefit packages in SAP.
• Reconcile and process monthly fringe benefit submissions, check requests, missing-hour reports, and payments.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, union fund variances, employer contribution issues, liquidated damages, and audit findings.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable, field accounting managers, labor relations, and Corporate Accounting to support accurate and compliant transactions.
• Maintain fringe benefit records according to retention policies and audit procedures, escalating issues and communicating outcomes to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of payroll and accounts payable workflows related to union contributions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in SAP, Excel, SharePoint, and corporate reporting tools.
• Ability to perform all job functions regularly at the company office or work site in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
