Associate Applications Engineer (Machine Vision)

What you will do

• Support the integration of machine vision and imaging solutions into validated, high-performance systems.
• Act as a technical resource for product and solution performance issues in specific application scenarios.
• Develop and conduct solution demonstrations and build proof-of-concept systems for internal and external events.
• Create technical training materials and solution documentation for internal teams and partners.
• Analyze customer requirements and use imaging toolsets to solve increasingly complex imaging problems.
• Collaborate with senior application engineers, sales, engineering, and product management on software design, hardware analysis, and system integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or vocational studies in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience with fixed industrial scanning and/or machine vision solutions.
• Fluent English, written and verbal, is required.
• Knowledge of machine vision, image processing, and electrical engineering fundamentals, including schematics, wiring, and multimeters.
• Programming knowledge in C, C++, C#, or Python in Windows and Linux environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with vision software and system solution design.
• Familiarity with PLC programming.
• Knowledge of manufacturing or logistics processes and environments.
• Certified Vision Professional — Basic certification.
