Systems Engineer (ML)

Location: Thiendorf, Germany; flexible working hours and home office are available.

hirify.global develops and manufactures semiconductor test and measurement products, including wafer probers, MEMS probe cards, metrology systems, and quantum cryogenic measurement systems.

What you will do

• Incorporate customer requirements into existing wafer probe systems.
• Maintain products, including component substitutions in coordination with purchasing.
• Support production during commissioning of new and further-developed systems.
• Analyze setup scenarios and capture image data under application-specific conditions.
• Develop and train ML models for robust structure identification, continuous learning, and dynamic parameter optimization.
• Validate and integrate ML solutions into existing hirify.global software and create technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of related experience, an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or a similar field.
• Experience with design software such as SolidWorks, PDM Works, or QAD.
• Programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or C#.
• Good written and spoken German and English.
• Independence, flexibility, initiative, and ability to work in a team.
