Flight Operations Specialist (Brazil) (Autonomous Electric Aviation)

Location: Remote, with a requirement to work in Mato Grosso and spend several weeks working independently

hirify.global designs and manufactures autonomous electric aircraft, flight-control software, avionics, propulsion systems, batteries, and carbon-fiber airframes for cargo transport and crop protection.

What you will do

• Support flight testing, customer training, and product support alongside deployed flight test engineers.
• Maintain continuous operations at customer sites by troubleshooting and resolving aircraft and infrastructure issues with remote engineering support.
• Fly and test new hardware and software features on experimental and developmental unmanned aircraft.
• Serve as Pilot in Command or Ground Control Operator during flight and ground test events.
• Conduct fleet-site maintenance and provide technical feedback and product improvement recommendations.
• Manage complex logistics supporting flight operations.

Requirements

• Portuguese fluency is required for leading training sessions, writing technical documentation, and communicating with customers and internal teams.
• At least one year of experience flying fixed-wing UAVs, model aircraft, or large multirotors.
• One to five years of experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with ground-control and mission-planning software, aircraft systems, maintenance, and manuals.
• Basic high-voltage safety knowledge and comfort working with 120 VDC and 20–30 kW systems.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, communicate clearly, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Fluent English for technical documentation, training, and international customer communication.
• Familiarity with Linux, command-line usage, and Git.
