TL;DR
Analyst, Green Trade Compliance (Sustainability) (Global Trade & Customs Compliance): Supporting customs compliance and sustainability initiatives for Coachtopia and Coach (Re)Loved with an accent on tariff classification, country-of-origin requirements, customs valuation, and sustainability claims. Focus on reviewing international product shipments, supporting circularity programs, conducting compliance audits and reporting, and monitoring evolving trade and sustainability regulations.

Location: New York, New York, USA (Corporate Headquarters)

Salary: $65,000–$70,000 per year

What you will do

  • Provide tariff classification and duty guidance for finished goods, raw materials, packaging, and other imports.
  • Advise cross-functional stakeholders on country of origin, customs valuation, assists, free trade agreements, import restrictions, marking, and related trade requirements.
  • Review sample, development, and commercial product shipments for customs and process compliance.
  • Support Coach (Re)Loved take-back programs, international pop-ups, and other circularity initiatives with import/export, labeling, testing, and documentation guidance.
  • Manage substantiation of Coachtopia sustainability claims and support internal audits, supplier assessments, compliance reviews, and reporting.
  • Monitor emerging trade, customs, and sustainability regulations to identify compliance risks and business opportunities.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in customs, international trade, supply chain, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in trade, sustainability, supply chain, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of customs and trade regulations, including researching, interpreting, and applying complex government requirements.
  • Experience with trade management and compliance tools such as ACE, Integration Point, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and relationship-building skills with close attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, including strong Excel skills.
