TL;DR
Compliance Analyst (Environmental Product Compliance) (RoHS/REACH/SCIP/TSCA): Supporting environmental product compliance for analytical instrumentation by reviewing product and supplier documentation, maintaining compliance data, and assessing engineering changes with an accent on documentation accuracy and global regulatory requirements. Focus on analyzing material declarations, certifications, and part-level information, maintaining Agile PLM records, and collaborating with engineering and supplier-facing teams.

Location: Onsite in Loveland or Fort Collins, Colorado, United States

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 USD per year, plus eligibility for bonus pay.

What you will do

  • Review product, supplier, and component documentation for environmental compliance.
  • Maintain compliance records and product data in Agile PLM and related systems.
  • Support compliance activities for RoHS, REACH, SCIP, TSCA, and other global product regulations.
  • Assist with Engineering Change Order reviews and documentation-based compliance assessments.
  • Collaborate with compliance, engineering, product development, and supplier-facing teams.
  • Occasionally support part-pull or shipment activities for testing while primarily working in a documentation-focused role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, environmental science, biology, materials science, engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • Academic or work exposure to chemicals, materials, substances, laboratory concepts, product components, or scientific documentation.
  • Ability to review documentation carefully, organize information accurately, and follow structured processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in academic, internship, work, athletics, or other team settings.
  • Curiosity, integrity, ownership, and willingness to learn product environmental compliance.

Nice to have

  • Coursework, internship, co-op, or early-career experience in chemistry, materials, product documentation, quality, manufacturing, or compliance.
  • Familiarity with CAS numbers, supplier declarations, Certificates of Conformance, or material declarations.
  • Exposure to product lifecycle management or compliance systems such as Agile PLM.
  • Awareness of RoHS, REACH, SCIP, TSCA, or similar environmental product regulations.
