Facilities Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Chaska, United States; onsite facility maintenance

Salary: $26.00–$34.80 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain and repair facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot standard maintenance issues independently and escalate unusual problems.
• Inspect facilities periodically and report repair requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and process engineering teams during equipment installation and repair.
• Maintain required certifications and complete safety training, including Emergency Response and CPR/AED/BBP.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of facilities maintenance or skilled-trades experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, pumps, chemical and gas distribution systems, and semiconductor equipment infrastructure.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and moderately independent decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in one or more skilled trades related to facility maintenance.
