Property Operations Manager

Location: Mason, Ohio, United States

Salary: $80,155–$100,182 annually, plus eligibility for quarterly bonus payments.

What you will do

• Lead regional field operations improvement initiatives aligned with national priorities.
• Provide leadership, training, coaching, and direction to regional operations and field maintenance teams.
• Plan and guide the implementation, deployment, and operational support of IT systems and business applications.
• Coordinate with regional, district, and executive leaders to improve service delivery, operational standards, and field execution.
• Manage resource allocation across people, equipment, materials, and inventory while driving cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare annual operating and capital expenditure reports demonstrating resource value and operational impact.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience overseeing field operations and at least 3 years of operations experience in residential property maintenance, property management, residential construction, or a related area.
• Experience in strategic planning, organization design, process improvement, budget planning, and financial management.
• Knowledge of data management, enterprise IT databases, compliance, automated testing, and high availability.
• Strong workforce planning, communication, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent operations management experience.
• Experience influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
• HVAC certification.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and REIT industry advancements.
