Chief Estimator, Electrical Construction (Electrical Construction)

Location: Broadview, Illinois, United States; onsite

Base salary: $116,458–$196,815 per year, paid weekly, plus incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop the electrical construction estimating team.
• Oversee bids, estimates, proposals, budgets, cost data, and estimating processes.
• Provide final review and approval of estimates for accuracy, competitiveness, and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with leadership on project selection, business growth, client engagement, and industry partnerships.
• Establish procedures, prepare reports, maintain departmental standards, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Perform hands-on estimating and review project requests, qualifications, plans, and specifications as needed.

Requirements

• 10+ years of construction experience, including Lead or Senior Estimator experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local codes.
• Ability to read and interpret civil, architectural, structural, and mechanical plans and specifications.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
