Chemical Operator II (Semiconductor)

Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts, United States; onsite plant environment

Salary: $30 per hour for level 2; night-shift differential of $2.50 per hour and overtime may be available based on business demand.

What you will do

• Produce and package batches of liquid lithographic chemical products for the semiconductor industry.
• Add raw materials to chemical vessels and complete manufacturing batch-processing procedures.
• Operate and field-check process equipment while monitoring process conditions and DCS control systems.
• Handle hazardous raw materials and products using required safety procedures.
• Follow operating discipline practices, participate in safety programs, and maintain a safe work environment.
• Complete labeling, boxing, filling, material movement, and other routine production activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail, self-motivation, and reliability.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of a 12-hour shift and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and work at table or overhead level as required.
• Ability to work onsite in a restricted electrically classified plant area and wear designated PPE, including cleanroom garments and, where required, a respirator.

Nice to have

• At least four years of experience in manufacturing and/or cleanroom environments.
• Forklift operation experience.
