Material Program Manager III (Aerospace)

Location: Folsom, California, United States; travel up to 10% within the United States, including possible overnight trips.

Base salary: $107,000–$160,000 USD annually, excluding benefits and bonus or incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Execute material schedules and budgets for the Advanced Weapons Business Unit.
• Manage earned value, estimates at completion, material sales forecasting, accruals, and cost accounts.
• Present supply chain status and challenges in program management reviews, leadership briefings, and customer briefings.
• Identify supply and demand gaps, risks, opportunities, and critical material shortages.
• Coordinate and optimize delivery schedules with critical suppliers and implement shortage-recovery solutions.
• Lead stakeholders through complex problems, dynamic environments, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED plus 10 years of supply chain planning experience, or a bachelor's degree plus 6 years, or a master's degree plus 4 years.
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government-issued Secret clearance are required.
• Applicants must be a US Person under applicable ITAR and EAR requirements and be eligible for required export authorizations.
• Material Program Management or Supply Chain Management experience on prime defense programs.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, program management, and budget management skills.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional certification.
• Knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations.
• Lean and Six Sigma training or certification.
• Experience supporting prime proposal efforts.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and VBA.
