Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN

What you will do

• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with healthcare providers within the scope of practice.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, observe treatment reactions, and collect urine, blood, and sputum specimens based on provider orders.
• Maintain medical equipment, a clean and safe environment, and infection-control procedures.
• Keep patient health records accurate and up to date.
• Work a rotating schedule across weekday and weekend shifts, including one required weekend shift every nine weeks, within a 40-hour work week.

Requirements

• Graduate from a National League for Nursing-accredited program, with an associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Current Practical or Vocational Nurse license in the state of practice is required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider is required.
• At least three years of clinical LPN/LVN experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, or an emergency department.
