Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Assisted Living (Full Time - Evening) (Senior Care)

Location: 4701 Pretty Lake Ave, Norfolk, VA 23518, USA; on-site evening position

What you will do

• Administer medications in compliance with federal and state regulations and company guidelines.
• Complete admissions, assessments, discharges, care plans, service plans, and clinical documentation as needed.
• Track clinical issues such as wounds and infection control under director supervision.
• Consult on residents’ health concerns and notify physicians or family members of health changes.
• Respond to emergencies, provide health education, and maintain communication with departments and staff.
• Protect the confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.

Requirements

• Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program in general nursing.
• At least 1 year of experience in senior care or a related field.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• Acceptable English proficiency required for duties, workplace communication, and emergency situations.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks safely under pressure.
