Production Planner (Ochang Plant)

Location: Ochang, South Korea; onsite production-planning role. Requires occasional late-night meetings or training with teams in the US, Europe, and Taiwan, usually around 9–10 p.m. Korea time, 1–3 times per month.

What you will do

• Support global short-term planning processes covering a 0–90-day horizon and manage planning exceptions for the assigned value stream.
• Develop and execute production plans using MRP reports, stock availability, capacity data, and manufacturing requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Procurement, Business Planning, and other planners to support on-time delivery.
• Estimate lead times and recommend lot sizes, material master data, routings, and production requirements for new part numbers.
• Analyze capacity constraints, inventories, contractual obligations, and equipment capabilities to proactively manage supply.
• Use SAP Finite Scheduling, SAP Exception Message Management, SAP ECC/S4HANA, and related planning tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent English and Korean.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, master data, capacity planning, and MRP processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and software skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritize, and multitask.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, root-cause-analysis, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain and logistics, business management, or a related field.
• CPIM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, Reveal Methodologies, or advanced planning solution certification such as Kinaxis RapidResponse.
