Specialist, Production Planning

What you will do

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on forecasts and sales orders.
• Optimize labor, machinery, and material utilization while adjusting plans for demand changes, supply chain disruptions, and machine downtime.
• Monitor semi-finished and finished goods inventory, prevent stockouts, reduce waste, and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, quality, maintenance, logistics, sales, and business unit stakeholders to support production flow and shipments.
• Analyze production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and report on efficiency, resource utilization, and output.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, including SAP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• English and Korean language skills required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
