Mechanical Engineer

Location: Denton, Texas, USA; onsite role with approximately 10% domestic travel

What you will do

• Develop, design, and analyze mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks and DraftSight.
• Create manufacturing drawings in accordance with industry standards and GD&T principles.
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to validate design performance, reliability, and safety.
• Manage bills of materials, engineering change orders, technical specifications, and other engineering documentation.
• Lead assigned tasks and small-to-medium engineering projects by defining scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with production, supply chain, vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve manufacturing issues and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of verifiable experience in mechanical design and/or project engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and 2D drafting.
• Strong understanding of mechanics, materials science, and manufacturing processes, including machining, injection molding, and sheet metal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work between a design workstation, project meetings, and the production floor; PPE is required in manufacturing and plant locations.
