Editor I (Video Production)

hirify.global produces and broadcasts news and other video content.

What you will do

• Edit daily news stories, breaking news, and special reports in short and long formats.
• Use non-linear, computer-based editing equipment to prepare video content for broadcast.
• Collaborate with reporters and producers to align video materials with scripts and suggest production improvements.
• Work with Content Management, Engineering, and master control teams to resolve technical incidents and submit shows.
• Find and manage feed and archive footage, including consolidating videos after broadcasts.
• Deliver all videos efficiently and on time, including during assigned weekend and holiday shifts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Broadcast Communications.
• At least two years of video editing experience.
• Expert knowledge of Avid Media Composer and i-News rundown.
• Bilingual written and oral communication in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work onsite in Miami, Florida.
