What you will do
- Produce daily newscast items for broadcast across all platforms.
- Write, order, and approve news stories and scripts.
- Balance news and feature content to create compelling broadcasts.
- Edit video and publish stories and video to websites and other eMedia platforms.
- Interact with viewers and users on social media.
- Time news programs and perform other assigned production duties.
Requirements
- Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field, or a current junior or senior in college.
- Fluency in English required.
- Strong knowledge of the full sports landscape, beyond Charlotte sports.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, handle multiple tasks, and work any shift.
