Media Production Intern (In-Person) (Video Production)

What you will do

• Support the studio production and content creation teams.
• Produce live and pre-recorded programs and segments for broadcast, OTT, websites, apps, and social media.
• Build competency with the Ross Overdrive automated production system and OBS live streaming technology.
• Design and create graphics for visual communication.
• Edit video using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Collaborate with content creators and technical staff while meeting fast-changing production deadlines.

Requirements

• Must participate in person at the Mobile, Alabama studios.
• Current students in production, film, social media, communication arts, digital marketing, journalism, or a similar field are encouraged to apply.
• Basic working knowledge of cameras, audio, switchers, graphics, and other video production equipment.
• Basic knowledge of timeline-based video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment where assignments may change with little notice.
• The internship is unpaid, supervised, and part time; students requiring academic credit receive priority consideration.
