Production Planner

Location: Taiwan; onsite manufacturing environment

What you will do

• Support global short-term production and supply planning processes covering 0–90 days.
• Use MRP reports and SAP planning tools to review order requirements, stock availability, and production plans.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Warehouse, Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, and other planners to support on-time delivery.
• Estimate lead times, recommend lot sizes and master-data updates, and support quoting for new part numbers.
• Analyze capacity, equipment capabilities, inventories, tooling, and contractual obligations to identify and manage constraints.
• Manage planning routines and exception resolution, including production, deployment, and material scheduling.

Requirements

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years of manufacturing experience without a bachelor’s degree.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of ERP systems, master data, capacity planning, and MRP processes.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and relevant planning software.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, root-cause-analysis, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business management, or a similar field.
• Certification such as CPIM, CSCP, APICS, Reveal Methodologies, or Lean Six Sigma.
