Senior OT Network Engineer (Cisco)

Location: Jackson, Tennessee, United States; travel required approximately 10% of the time.

Salary: $103,700–$163,020 USD annually.

What you will do

• Design, configure, deploy, maintain, and optimize wired and wireless OT network infrastructure in manufacturing environments.
• Lead Tier 3 troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis for industrial network issues.
• Define OT network architecture, standards, design blueprints, and cybersecurity practices.
• Integrate ICS, SCADA, IIoT, and smart devices with engineering, IT, and InfoSec teams.
• Implement network segmentation and zoning based on the Purdue Model, and align OT security with ISA/IEC 62443 and NIST frameworks.
• Manage Cisco IE switches, firewalls, routers, monitoring tools, upgrades, migrations, vendor coordination, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of network engineering experience and a strong Cisco networking background.
• Experience in manufacturing and collaboration across Operations, IT, and Security.
• Strong OT security experience, including segmentation, firewalls, and secure remote access.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting wireless networks in industrial environments.
• Experience with CMDB, change control, network monitoring, industrial protocols, communication, and technical documentation.
