Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (OT/ICS)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States

Salary: $111,000–$138,700 annually for Georgia-based applicants, plus potential annual performance bonus and equity awards.

What you will do

• Design and maintain secure OT network architectures using the Purdue model, segmentation, firewalls, unidirectional gateways, and micro-segmentation.
• Build Python, PowerShell, or Ansible automation for configuration drift monitoring, compliance checks, and OT visibility platform integrations.
• Develop vulnerability management and automated software and firmware patch verification pipelines.
• Manage OT security tools, industrial protocol monitoring, asset inventories, and facility topology maps.
• Partner with Automation and Controls Engineers to harden PLC, HMI, DCS, SCADA, and RTU configurations.
• Support incident response, including containment, isolation, and forensic investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Controls Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6–8+ years of experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity, control systems engineering, or industrial automation, including 3+ years focused on OT security.
• Hands-on knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, DCS, SCADA, and RTUs from Rockwell Automation, Siemens, or Schneider Electric.
• Hands-on expertise with the Purdue model, network segmentation, firewalls, and industrial network protocols.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash, plus infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, OT security tools, and standards including NIST SP 800-82 and ISO 27001.
