AVP, Commercial Real Estate Loan Operations

Annual base salary: $85,000–$145,000

What you will do

• Manage loan operations for assigned commercial real estate loan portfolios.
• Handle research requests and support responses to borrower, investor, client, and third-party inquiries.
• Monitor task assignments, approvals, distribution, reporting, and audit records.
• Identify operational issues, performance trends, and opportunities to improve servicing, quality control, reporting, and automation workflows.
• Review operational procedures, perform quality control on completed work, and communicate findings.
• Train team members and coordinate with management, internal staff, clients, servicers, and external parties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, business, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 6 years of industry or relevant experience, typically including experience at Senior Associate level or equivalent.
• 3–6 years of experience in commercial real estate, cash management, loan servicing, or escrow management.
• Experience using industry-related software systems and Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables to understand and reconcile data.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, judgment, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Availability for occasional extended hours, evenings, or weekends to meet deadlines.
