AVP, Staff Review Appraiser (Commercial Appraisal)

Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $77,000–$130,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus targets of 10% cash and 10% restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Complete complex and specialty commercial property evaluations and appraisal reviews within service-level agreements.
• Provide written summaries, document issues, recommend revisions, and develop second opinions of value when needed.
• Verify that appraisals accurately reflect market value, property condition, and marketability while meeting applicable guidelines and standards.
• Coordinate with credit teams, clients, appraisers, reviewers, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Process appraiser and reviewer invoices and generate reports for assigning received appraisal reports.
• Support the training and development of appraisers, staff, and analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 6–8 years of commercial appraisal experience, including specialized property types and complex assignments.
• Certified commercial appraiser qualification.
• Employment eligibility in the United States is verified through E-Verify.
• Successful completion of credit, criminal background, and pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana screening, is required.
