Vice President, Primary Investments

Location: Boston, United States; hybrid arrangement with a minimum of four days per week in the Boston office. Occasional business travel is expected.

Base salary: $200,000–$210,000 per year, plus a discretionary annual bonus and potential long-term rewards.

What you will do

• Own and drive the investment process, including manager due diligence, underwriting, oversight, investment memos, presentations, referencing, investment committee discussions, legal negotiations, and closings.
• Source new Private Equity, Growth Equity, and Venture Capital investment opportunities.
• Build and deepen relationships with new and existing General Partners and identify cross-platform partnership opportunities.
• Monitor partnership investments through LPAC meetings, annual meetings, and regular updates with General Partners.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Support client service through preparation of materials and participation in meetings.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in private equity, investments, or investment advisory roles.
• Strong investment analysis, manager due diligence, and portfolio monitoring experience.
• Deep Excel experience and strong quantitative skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including presentations to senior leaders, General Partners, and clients.
• Experience leading manager due diligence processes and driving projects.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or comparable experience preferred.
