Vice President, Investor Relations (Alternatives Asset Management)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $137,400–$233,600 USD per year, plus potential discretionary bonus and equity component.

What you will do

• Support investor relations, business development, client service, internal sales support, pipeline development, market strategy, and product development.
• Create investor presentations, strategy commentary, and client updates.
• Develop and communicate a deep understanding of hedge fund, private equity, and private credit products, investments, and capabilities.
• Oversee performance and marketing materials, improving data integrity, content quality, and delivery efficiency.
• Coordinate with investment and operations teams, fund service providers, internal sales channels, and external clients.
• Manage multiple changing priorities and complete detailed, time-sensitive responsibilities in a large organization.

Requirements

• College or university degree and/or relevant proven work experience.
• 8–10 years of client servicing and support experience in the alternatives asset management industry.
• Understanding of fund structures and private equity and hedge fund strategies.
• Basic understanding of alternative markets, including private equity, private credit, and/or hedge funds.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including client meetings and fundraising settings.
• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong organization, attention to detail, responsiveness, and prioritization skills.
