Staff Engineer of Manufacturing Quality

Location: Onsite Monday-Friday at the Mosel plant, N7650 County Rd LS, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, 53083, United States

Salary: $98,900-$125,600 per year

What you will do

• Lead daily operations, staffing, training, and performance management for first- and second-shift inspection teams.
• Build and continuously improve incoming inspection workflows, standards, data collection, and measurement methods.
• Own the Material Review Board process, including disposition, inventory control, containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Evaluate inspection tools and technologies, ensuring calibration and gage R&R compliance.
• Drive quality improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, and Kaizen methods.
• Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Supplier Quality on audits, supplier issues, CTQ requirements, and product improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related engineering field.
• 7+ years of quality engineering or incoming inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience managing technicians and inspectors.
• Strong expertise in MSA, SAP, metrology systems, and inspection equipment.
• Experience applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies; Green Belt or higher is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
