Field Service Technician - Home Remodeling (Home Construction)

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana; full-time field work onsite

Salary: $20–$25 per hour, plus bonus opportunities

What you will do

• Travel to customers’ homes to install new products and repair existing products.
• Follow company processes and quality standards while delivering customer service.
• Take preventative measures and escalate customer issues to the Service Department.
• Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records.
• Explain equipment issues and repairs to customers.
• Handle physical work including lifting equipment up to 50 pounds and prolonged bending, walking, standing, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.

Requirements

• Proven window and door installation experience and general home construction knowledge.
• Some glass reglazing experience; additional training may be provided.
• Experience with bath installation, plumbing, or handyman work.
• Own truck and tools.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
