TL;DR
Technical Service Manager (Medical Devices) (APD and CRRT renal products): Managing technical service operations for medical devices across Thailand field and depot locations with an accent on customer satisfaction, service quality, regulatory compliance, and operational performance. Focus on leading service teams, deploying product field actions, standardizing repair processes, managing KPIs and budgets, and developing staff.

Location: hirify.global Technical Service Office on New Phetchaburi Road in Bangkok, Thailand. The role covers Thailand field and depot locations, with regular Monday–Friday working hours from 8:00 to 17:00 and approximately 10% travel.

What you will do

  • Lead technical service operations for APD and CRRT renal therapy machines.
  • Set priorities, ensure compliance with procedures, and provide technicians with the training, tools, and processes required for effective service delivery.
  • Manage new product releases, serviceability assessments, training requirements, equipment, spare parts, manuals, and field actions.
  • Build relationships with commercial leaders and customers while supporting medical equipment sales and resolving equipment-related issues.
  • Develop service strategies, standardize field and depot repair processes, manage budgets and forecasts, and monitor operational, quality, compliance, spare-parts, and customer-satisfaction KPIs.
  • Coach, develop, attract, and retain service employees while leading organizational change and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of management experience in international medical device companies, including at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role.
  • Ability to establish performance standards, communicate a clear vision, and align staff performance with organizational goals.
  • Strong customer relationship-building, collaboration, coaching, and staff development skills.
  • Business-level English communication skills are required for reporting to an expatriate Director based in Australia.
