Technical Account Manager (AI Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: Hybrid, with presence required four days per week at the San Francisco, San Jose, or Bellevue office; Tuesday is the designated work-from-home day.

Annual salary: $257,000–$342,000 for San Francisco/San Jose or $231,000–$308,000 for Bellevue.

What you will do

• Own the technical health of public cloud accounts from post-hypercare handoff through steady state, expansion, and renewal.
• Map customer training, fine-tuning, and inference workloads and identify architecture, performance, and platform opportunities.
• Lead customer POCs by defining success criteria, coordinating provisioning and capacity, running benchmarks, and driving clear outcomes.
• Design and defend reference architectures across compute, networking, storage, connectivity, Slurm, and Kubernetes.
• Build SLA, reliability, uptime, health-scoring, telemetry, dashboarding, and churn early-warning tooling.
• Lead technical escalations, incidents, root-cause analysis, proactive maintenance, and structured product feedback.

Requirements

• 5+ years in technical account management, solutions engineering, architecture, ML engineering, technical program or product management, or infrastructure engineering with significant customer-facing experience in cloud, HPC, or AI infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience provisioning, benchmarking, and debugging GPU infrastructure across compute, InfiniBand, Ethernet, storage, and schedulers such as Slurm and Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of training, fine-tuning, and inference workloads and the ability to lead technical discussions with ML and infrastructure engineers.
• Experience leading structured POCs, architecture designs, benchmark programs, or high-severity technical escalations.
• Strong scripting, SQL, dashboarding, technical communication, and methodology-building skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with an AI cloud, neocloud, hyperscaler, or large-scale GPU/HPC customers.
• Applied LLM experience, including fine-tuning, RAG systems, or inference serving.
• NVIDIA ecosystem experience with NIM, NeMo, Base Command/BCM, CUDA, or DGX-class systems.
• Knowledge of SLA structures, service credits, enterprise contracts, NRR/GRR, product management, or technical program management.
