Registered Nurse, RN - Outpatient Uro/Gyn & MIGS Clinic

Location: Woburn, Massachusetts, United States. The role is based at an off-site affiliated satellite clinic, with potential flexing on-site and frequent travel to the main hospital.

Pay range: $34.79–$43.49 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide leadership, direction, and priority setting for patient care in the ambulatory clinic.
• Coordinate comprehensive, seamless care and transitions with clinical, administrative, research, and inpatient partners.
• Assess, triage, educate, and follow up with patients using telecommunications technologies and direct clinical care.
• Identify high-risk patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary services to improve outcomes.
• Mentor staff, delegate responsibilities within scope, and support clinical education and development.
• Lead quality, safety, access, patient experience, and regulatory improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; an associate degree may be considered after review by the Nurse Executive Council.
• Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification required.
• Additional certifications or state licensure, such as ACLS or PALS, may be required based on the department and care provided.
• Ability to practice autonomously at the top of licensure and lead or direct clinical support staff.
• Strong communication, patient education, problem-solving, teamwork, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and manage standing, walking, patient transfers, emergencies, and exposure to clinical hazards.

Nice to have

• At least one year of ambulatory nursing experience.
• Urogynecology, urology, gynecology, or surgical experience.
• Specialty nursing certification.
