Company

hirify.global is an early-stage biotechnology company developing genomics and molecular detection platforms that integrate molecular biology, chemistry, and systems engineering.

What you will do

  • Execute surface-based nucleic acid detection assays in 96- and 384-well plate formats.
  • Prepare master mixes, serial dilutions, oligonucleotides, enzyme reagents, and working stocks.
  • Perform fluorescence plate-based assays, capillary electrophoresis sample preparation, and routine instrument operation.
  • Analyze experimental data, summarize results, and present findings to the Assay Development team.
  • Optimize assay performance through troubleshooting, experimental evaluation, assay verification, and reproducibility studies.
  • Maintain laboratory notebooks, experimental records, SOP documentation, reagent inventory, and laboratory organization.

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with molecular biology or biochemical assays and 96- or 384-well plate workflows.
  • Experience with nucleic acid hybridization, fluorescence-based detection, enzymatic reactions, surface-based capture assays, or molecular diagnostics.
  • Experience preparing master mixes, serial dilutions, reagent stocks, and performing low-volume liquid handling.
  • Familiarity with fluorescence plate readers, capillary electrophoresis, or similar analytical instruments.
  • For a B.S., 2–4 years of relevant industry experience; for an M.S., 1–2 years of relevant industry experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience with JMP or similar data analysis software.
  • Experience with automated liquid handling systems such as Hamilton, Tecan, Beckman, or Opentrons.
  • Experience in a regulated diagnostics, biotechnology, or medical device environment.
  • Experience supporting assay optimization, troubleshooting, or analytical method development.

Culture & Benefits

  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary R&D environment with evolving priorities.
  • Work on genomics and molecular detection technologies at an early stage of platform development.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Company-paid life insurance and a 401(k) retirement plan.
