Rotational Manufacturing Process Engineer

What you will do

• Complete six-month rotations across different areas of the business and develop a broad understanding of manufacturing operations.
• Define work methods and lead projects that improve product flow across production cells.
• Integrate safety procedures covering lockout, job safety analysis, PPE, machine guarding, and ergonomics.
• Provide technical support and training for production teams on equipment programming, operation, and maintenance.
• Monitor quality metrics, analyze root causes, and implement corrective action plans.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and workstations; support equipment purchasing, technology roadmaps, maintenance schedules, and manufacturing-process documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and motivation to implement technology and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing, statistical analysis with Minitab, GD&T, SolidWorks, value stream mapping, DFM, pFMEA, and structured problem solving.

Nice to have

• New product introduction experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Allen Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Experience with automated assembly equipment.
• Power Apps experience.
